HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN REMAJA AWAL TENTANG PUBERTAS DENGAN PERILAKU SEKSUAL REMAJA DI SMP NEGERI 1 BATURADEN TAHUN 2013

Puberty is period in which rapid physical maturation include in body and hormones that occur in early teens. Adolescent aged 10-19 years by 15% of the 200 students admitted that he had ever sexual intercourse. To avoid the deviant sexual behavior in early teens, needed a knowledge of puberty. To determine the relationship of early adolescent knowledge about
puberty with adolescent sexual behavior.
Method of this research was correlation analytic, based on primary data with cross sectional approach and instrument are questionnaires to 64 respondents at SMP N 1 Baturaden on june 21st 2013. Used cluster random sampling technique with chi square analysis.
Teens who have a positive attitude most have a good knowledge of as many as 10 respondents (71,4%) more than the teenagers with enough knowledge of 27 respondents (67,5%). Whereas adolescents who have largely negative behaviors have less knowledge of as many as 10 respondents (100%) more than the teenagers with enough knowledge of as many as 13 respondents (32,5%). Analysis results obtained using the chi square p-value (0,0001) < α (0,05).
There is relathionship between early adolescent knowledge about puberty with adolescent sexual behavior.
